Our current Coaching Liaison is Edel Cronin.
The Coaching Liaison runs quarterly check-ins with coaches, as well as being on hand on slack channel needed here* for more frequent updates. Regular feedback is necessary to ensure any planned holidays/absences have cover, sessions are planned effectively and to create a space where coaches can raise issues and provide feedback on current processes. This includes how they are doing, what works well, what needs improvement and what BCG can do to help coaches do what they do best!
How to run a community session: The purpose of this document is to provide coaches with details about additional information relating to running a community session.
Planned absences:
3 weeks notice or more would be an ideal timeframe for notice of absence.
1) Tell the Coaching Liaison as soon as possible so cover can be found. If a response is not given by the Coaching Liaison within a week:

Unplanned absences:
Best practice is to alert as many people as possible so volunteers can get the message out and if possible organise cover or cancellation. We struggle with last minute absences, particularly for sessions that don't have other coaches who do similar content, so the more notice you're able to give, the better.
